Ali Mohamed is originally from Aswan, Egypt. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Education in English from Aswan Faculty of Education, South Valley University. He has been a teacher of English as a foreign language since 2000 and has been working in Awad Elsayed Secondary School since 2005. In 2007-2008, he attended a training course on methodology at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Mr. Ali also holds a TKT Certificate from the University of Cambridge. He enjoys traveling, driving and fishing. Mr. Ali is married and has a daughter and two sons. His primary objectives for participating in the TCLP program are to improve his teaching skills, gain proficiency in the English language and share Egyptian culture with U.S. school children. Mr. Ali was hosted by Truesdell Education Campus in Washington, DC.
