Yasser Abdelgalil

Bio
Mr. Abdelgalil is from Luxor, Egypt and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Education in English degree from the Department of Education at South Valley University. He received his vocational diploma in education technology in 2007 and his special diploma in curriculum and methods of teaching English in 2008. He is currently working on his Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Methods of Teaching English at Ain Shams University. He currently teaches English at El Hella Institute for Girls. Mr. Abdelgalil’s hobbies are Arabic poetry, chess, and theater. His primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program is to make long term relationships between Egyptian and American societies by getting students in both countries close together. He also hopes to benefit from the American education system in general. Mr. Abdelgalil was hosted by Peck School (1,560 students and 98 teachers) in Chicago, Illinois (pop. 13,000,000). He was an alumni buddy in the 2017-2018 year.
