Amy Sanders
Bio
Amy Sanders is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended Bucknell University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. She later received both a Master of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Education at the University of Minnesota. Ms. Sanders is now a Social Studies teacher in addition to her roles as New Teacher Mentor and Faculty Advisory for the Global Action Club at Yarmouth High School. Ms. Sanders has received awards from the Supreme Court Historical Society and the Freeman Foundation. She has also had the opportunity to study, work and volunteer abroad in numerous countries through Rotary International, Peace Corps and other programs. Just a few of the countries she has visited include Austria, Dominican Republic, China and Guatemala. In her spare time, Ms. Sanders enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband and children.
