Wang Xiaopei

Bio
Ms. Wang is from Zhengzhou, China and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the Foreign Language Department at Jilin Normal University. She will receive her Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology at Johnson University, Knoxville, Tennessee in May 2012. She has taught English at Zhengzhou No. 47 Middle and High School in Zhengzhou, Henan since 2006. In 2009, Ms. Wang participated in a Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages training, and from then on has taught Chinese to non-native speakers. She participates in various foreign affairs of the school and is a coordinator of the Friendly Experimental Class program. Her hobbies include music, photography and sports. While she is participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program, she hopes to bring Chinese language and culture to U.S. classrooms and her host community, and to explore U.S. teaching methods. Ms. Wang was hosted by FAIR School Downtown (520 students and 60 teachers) in Minneapolis, Minnesota (pop. 400,000). She was an alumni buddy to Wang Zheng for the 2016-2017 year.
