Xing Tan
Bio
Ms. Xing is from Tianjin, China and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Tianjin Normal University. She has taught English at Tianjin Xinhua High School since 2005. She is currently working on her master degree in English education to help deepen her understanding of English and enrich her methodology in teaching. Her hobbies include badminton and swimming. As a teacher in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program, she wants to learn advanced teaching methods in the U.S. and help American students gain a better understanding of Chinese culture. Ms. Xing was hosted by La Paloma Elementary School (752 students and 27 teachers) in Fallbrook, California (pop. 48,000).
