Wang Giuqin
Bio
Wang Giuqin is from Kaifeng, China, and she holds two degrees in English and American literature from Henan University, as well as continuing education credits from Nottingham University’s School of English Studies. She has taught English at Kaifeng No. 25 Senior High School (3,100 students and 180 teachers) since 1987. She is a primary member of the Kaifeng Education Bureau’s English Research Department, and helped establish her school’s partnership with the Shawnee Mission School District as part of her school delegation’s visit in 2005. She represented her city by carrying the Olympic torch to the Beijing Olympics’ opening ceremonies.
