Kathleen Barrett
Bio
Kathleen Barrett is originally from East Setauket, Long Island, New York. Ms. Barrett received a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from SUNY at Stony Brook and received a Masters in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College in Vermont. She is now a high school Chinese, French and Spanish teacher at The Morgan School, and also holds roles as Freshmen Advisor, Chinese Program Coordinator, and Program Director for the School Exchange Program. Ms. Barrett is also the recipient of the STARTALK Chinese Teacher Intensive Summer Workshop Award (2008) and participated in a Rotary International Exchange program in Mexico. She has also been to Taiwan, China, Southeastern Asia, France and Puerto Rico. In her spare time, Ms. Barrett enjoys gardening, cycling, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
She was the mentor teacher for Qin Chao and Wang Jianfu.
