Zheng Chen
Bio
Zheng Chen is from Wuhan and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Masters degree in International Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Since 2006, she has taught English at Wuhan Foreign Languages School (1,700 students and 170 teachers). She is a head teacher there, assisting students with English activities. She has participated in several teacher training programs and seminars. Ms. Zheng has also published articles in The China Journal of Multimedia and Teaching and Middle School Student Weekly. Through these articles, she has developed a better understanding of students, honed her communication skills and deepened her understanding of teaching. Ms. Zheng is married, and her hobbies are traveling, music and reading detective novels. Her objectives for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program were to disseminate Chinese language and culture, and to explore progressive teaching practices and classroom management skills while enhancing her English proficiency.
