Samy Hendawy

Bio
Samy Hendawy is from Etay El Baroud, south of Alexandria and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Alexandria. He has been teaching at the Lotfy Alosta Secondary School for girls (1,000 students and 100 teachers) since 2006. He has taken a course on Communicative Reflective Methodology (CRM) Course and a training course on methodology at Strathclyde University in the United Kingdom, where he had the opportunity to teach foreign students of various nationalities. Mr. Samy has Intel and ICDL certificates, and he is now studying Oracle databases at Oracle Academy in the U.S. Mr. Samy is married with young sons: Ahmed and Abdelrahman, and his hobbies are soccer and reading. His goals for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program were to promote the teaching of Arabic in American schools and to increase mutual understanding between his school community and U.S. school communities.
