Arabic students organize a cultural fair for their classmates

Students in TCLP exchange teacher Nashaat Mehany’s Arabic class at Tomah High School in Tomah, Wisconsin organized a day-long cultural fair on April 1, 2016 to introduce their classmates to Egyptian culture and society. Students researched and presented information on Egypt’s history, cuisine, clothing, sports, and the Arabic language throughout the day. “I’m… very proud of all my students who amazed everyone with their well-designed presentations and great enthusiasm about the topics they chose to present” said Mr. Mehany, “I consider this to be the crowning point of my year here in the USA.”
