Outreach with the Boy Scouts

I was interviewed by the Boy Scouts from East Brookfield. They needed to interview a foreigner from another country to obtain their eagle badge before they turned 18. For the boy scout requirement, we talked about the typical values, holidays, ethnic foods, and traditions practiced or enjoyed there. In addition,
i brought with me an article about a human right realized in the United States that is not recognized in Egypt

Arabic names and Henna

This was a reach-out to the people in the Leicester community. The objectives of the outreach are:
1- introduce Arabic Calligraphy to Harvest-fair visitors.
2- acquaint the people with the art of Henna.
3- explain how henna is made and used.
4- highlight the advantages of using henna on the hair and the skin.
5- offer to write names and Henna for free.

Outreach/ Egyptian Snacks and Arabic Greetings

This outreach is entitled Egyptian snacks and Arabic Greetings. The idea behind it is to introduce myself to the staff in Leicester Middle School and teach them a new Arabic Greetings. I also introduced them to some delicious snacks that are famous in Egypt.
The objectives are:
1- Introduce myself as the new Arabic teacher from Egypt to my colleagues at Leicester Middle school.
2- Answer their questions about the program and how I was assigned to school.
3- Teach them a new Arabic greeting.

Why Arabic? An Outreach Presentation

The outreach aims at introducing the new program and the Arabic Language. Most people in the valley did not know about the importance of learning Arabic. I think I was the first one to go to Alamo city in Texas. So I arranged this outreach and designed flyers to be distributed every where declaring time and place of the outreach which took place in the school cafeteria right after the campus at 5.00 pm - 6.00 pm
