Lo Yu-Ting

Bio
Lo Yu-Ting is from Taichung, Taiwan and received her bachelor's degree in English language from National Kaohsiung Normal University and is currently pursuing her master's degree in English language from National Taichung University of Education. She has been a teacher of applied English at Taichung Home Economics and Commercial High School since 2017. Additionally, she is a homeroom teacher and serves as the chief of registrar and student affairs. In 2014, she won first prize in the Archive of Educational Practice Competition and was honored with the Merit Award of the Digital Teaching Files Competition in 2015. Outside of teaching, she enjoys exploring nature, playing badminton, and visiting exhibitions. During her year in the United States, she enjoyed immersing herself in an authentic cultural environment and sharing the beauty of Mandarin with her students and community. Her primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program was to enhance students' cross-cultural awareness, develop intercultural communication competence, and build long-term relationships between her home school and host school. For the 2023-2024 academic year, Ms. Lo was hosted by Sauk Prairie High School in Prairie du Sac, WI. For the 2024-2025 academic year, Lo Yu-Ting will serve as an alumni buddy for exchange teacher Lee Yu-Ku.
