Liao Yuxiang
Bio
Liao Yuxiang is from Ji'an, China and received her bachelor’s degree in English education from Jinggangshan Normal University. She was an English teacher at Xiajiang Middle School from 2004 to 2017, and now works at Jiangxi Jishui Middle School as an English teacher and director of the Executive Office. She has also launched a series of activities concerning the reading of Classics. Outside of teaching she enjoys watching sports games and traveling. During her year in the United States, she is looking forward to joining a local family, attending American football games, and sharing Spring Festival traditions with her students and community members. Her primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program is to get a comprehensive understanding of the American education system and well-received teaching methods. In addition, she is very eager to establish a long-lasting connection between her host and home schools. Ms. Liao will be hosted by PilotED Schools Bethel Park Elementary in Indianapolis, IN.
