Li Lin
Bio
Li Lin is from Xi'an, China and received her master's degree in English literature from Xi'an International Studies University. She has been an English teacher at Xi'an Qujiang No.1 High School since 2012. She has gained much experience in teaching and has won several education and teaching awards throughout her career. Outside of teaching she enjoys reading books, playing the guitar, and writing Chinese calligraphy. During her year in the United States, she is looking forward to celebrating traditional Chinese festivals like Mid-Autumn Day and Chinese New Year with American students. In addition, she is hoping to participate in popular activities with American students at school or in the community. Her primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program is to improve cultural exchanges by teaching American students Mandarin. Furthermore, she is hoping to improve her teaching skills by working with American teachers and participating in training programs for teachers in America. Ms. Li will be hosted by Wildwood High School in Wildwood, NJ.
