Huang Juanjuan
Bio
Huang Juanjuan is from Shenzhen, China and received her bachelor’s degree in English teaching from Guangzhou University. She has been an English teacher at Shenzhen Jinglian Primary School since 2005. In addition, she has been the team leader of the school English teaching group for two years. Outside of teaching she enjoys playing badminton and Latin dancing. During her year in the United States, she enjoyed sharing cultural holidays with her students and sightseeing. Her primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program was to gain teaching experience in a foreign country and deepen her and her students’ cultural understanding. For the 2023-2024 academic year, Ms. Huang was hosted by Hearst Elementary School in Washington, DC.
