Claudia Larrotta
Bio
Claudia Larrotta is originally from Bucaramanga, Colombia, South America. She received her doctoral degree in the teaching of the Spanish language and literature from the University of Granada, Spain. She also holds two master’s degrees in education and semiotic studies. She is currently a Spanish teacher at Etowah High School, a position she has held since 2002. Dr. Larrotta is also the chair of the world languages department and has served in the technology committee and sponsored several clubs. She became a teacher because she is a passionate learner and loves to share her knowledge and help others to make discoveries, and has now been teaching for 24 years in all. She loves reading, traveling, and running. During the 2013-2014 year she was the mentor teacher for Tian Kun from Anhui, China. This year Dr. Larrotta is the mentor teacher for Wang Haiyan from Liaoning, China.
