Nancy Foster

Bio
Ms. Foster is originally from Glendale, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of California, Los Angeles, her teaching credential from California State University, San Francisco, and her Master of Arts in Educational Administration from California State University Northridge. She has held the position of Lead Teacher/Assistant Principal since 2007, and is an English Language Development coach, literacy coach, peer assistance and review teacher, and a mentor teacher for other districts. Her love of children motivated her to teach, she has now taught for 20 years, but has been involved with education for 25 years. Ms. Foster has traveled to Italy, Great Britain, France, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Singapore. She lived in Mexico City and Cuernavaca for seven years. She is married and has a son and a daughter. She enjoys reading, golf, walking, spending time with grandchildren, and traveling. She received the Bilingual-Biliteracy Award for Outstanding Contributions in Education 2009.

Ms. Foster was the mentor teacher for Xing Tan from Tianjin, China in 2012-2013. She was also the mentor teacher for Zhang Jing from the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University in Beijing, China in 2011-2012.
