Xin Fangzheng
Bio
Xin Fangzheng is from Dezhou, China and received his bachelor’s in English from QuFu Normal University. He has been an English teacher at Linyi No.1 Middle School since 2013. He is also a homeroom teacher and has received the “Young Outstanding Teacher” award. He enjoys jogging, soccer, and playing Chinese chess. He has a wife and a lovely daughter who is seven months old. During his year in the U.S., Mr. Xin looked forward to sharing music and festivals with students and friends, learning firsthand about American life and culture, and celebrating western festivals with friends. His primary objectives for participating in TCLP were to improve teaching for foreign language classes and to study different ways to help students learn foreign languages. He was hosted by East Hartford High School in East Hartford, CT.
