Bio
Iris Garza is originally from Edinburg, TX. She received an interdisciplinary studies degree in bilingual education from the University of Texas Pan-American. Besides her bilingual education certification, she's also certified in languages other than English. Mrs. Garza is currently a Spanish teacher at Beethoven Secondary School, a position she has held since 2018. She is also the Spanish Club sponsor at her school. She became a teacher to make an impact in students' lives and inspire and motivate them to make this world a better one. Mrs. Garza has now been teaching for eight years. She was the mentor teacher to Wang Xiaoyue from Xinyu, China (2019-2020) and Zeng Xiaolian (2021-2022) from Nanchang, China.
