Joyce Brandt
Bio
Joyce Brandt is from Hilliard, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Wittenberg University and a master’s degree from Marygrove College. She is currently the General Music Teacher at Scioto Darby Elementary, a position she has held since 1999. She is also part of the leadership team at her school. She became a teacher to make a difference in young people's lives and pass on her love for the arts, and she has been teaching for 28 years as of 2019. She has connections throughout the local community and uses those connections to enrich experiences for her students. She was the mentor teacher to Deng Xinxin from Chongqing, China (2019-2020).
