Dana Anderson

Bio
Dana Anderson is originally from Kaiyuan, China. She received her bachelor’s degree in teaching secondary mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2010. She received her master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the American College of Education in 2012. She holds endorsements in bilingual education for Mandarin Chinese and English as a Second Language. As of 2019, she has been a Mandarin teacher at Lane Tech College Preparatory High School for eight years after working for a year at another charter school. Besides being a Mandarin teacher, she has also taught algebra. She has a passion for teaching and has been the bilingual coordinator at Lane Tech College Prep High School for five years. She was the mentor teacher to Chen Yanyi from Liuzhou, China (2019-2020).
