Zhao Xin

Bio
Zhao Xin is originally from Guangzhou, China. She received her master's degree in English teaching from Guangzhou University. She has been an English teacher at her school since 2013. As a grade supervisor, she is in charge of organizing classroom management and student activities. She has received awards in teaching and has published three theses since 2011. Since 2015, she has worked with Guangdong Education Research Institute. In May 2017, she held a demonstration class in Beijing for Life-long Learning Lab of Tsinghua University. Ms. Zhao enjoys Chinese calligraphy and painting. She also teaches students kung fu after school. During her year in the United States, Ms. Xin looked forward to celebrating Thanksgiving, attending an American football game, volunteering, sharing Chinese cultural holidays with her students, and participating in other academic activities. Ms. Zhao’s goal for participating in TCLP was to learn more about American teaching methodologies and culture. She was hosted by Plantation Middle School in Plantation, FL.
