Wu Xiaohong

Bio
Wu Xiaohong is originally from Shijiazhuang, China and received her bachelor's degree in English in 2005 and her master's degree in education management in 2015 from Hebei Normal University. She has been an English teacher at Shijiazhuang No. 2 Experimental School since 2005. She has won several awards for her public classes. Ms. Wu enjoys dancing and jogging. She has a husband and a six-year-old son. During her year in the United States, Ms. Xiaohong looked forward to experiencing American culture and observing and learning from American teachers' class. Additionally, she hoped that American students will learn more about Chinese and Chinese culture through her class. Her primary objectives for participating in TCLP were to further her understanding of American culture and to improve her teaching skills and English competence. She was hosted by Jackson High School in Jackson, MI.
