Nada Shaath

Bio
Nada Shaath is originally from Amman, Jordan. She received her Master of Science in Psychology, Single Subject Credential in Arabic, and PPS Credential in School Psychology from National University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She participated in the standards development for foreign languages in California. She is OPI Arabic testing certified, and has an advanced knowledge of utilizing information technology for language teaching. From 1993 to 1999, she worked as an elementary teacher in a prestigious school in Jordan, Amman Baccalaureate School, where she was part of the international accreditation team. She is currently an Arabic Teacher at Bell Senior High, a position she has held since 2007. Ms. Jandali is also a Lead Teacher of the Startalk Program for Los Angeles Unified School District. She became a teacher in the United States to build the Arabic program within the Los Angeles area and the rest of the state of California. She has now been teaching for 13 years. She is married with two children. Her hobbies include shopping, swimming, listening to music, and watching movies.
