Abdelrahman Dawoud
Bio
Abdelrahaman Dawoud is originally from Ashmoon, Egypt. He received his bachelor’s degree in education in 1999. In 2014, he received a diploma in educational technology from the University of Leicester. He has also earned a TOEFL certificate, a diploma in teaching Arabic as a foreign language from Mansoura University and Alazhar University, and an IELTS certificate.He was also awarded a certificate in "teaching American English online" from RELO and "teaching with technology certificate" from Microsoft. He has been a senior teacher of English at Abdelsalam Wahba Elementary School since 2005. Mr. Dawoud works as a teacher trainer in the Professional Academy of Teachers and at his school, he also manages the students' English club. He likes technology and outdoor sports such as football and table tennis. During his stay in US, Mr. Dawoud looked forward to experiencing holidays such as Thanksgiving and Halloween and sharing Egyptian holidays such as Sham al-Naseem. His primary goals for participating in TCLP were to learn new teaching techniques and build a sister school relationship between his home and host schools. He was hosted by Baltimore International Academy in Baltimore, MD.
