Amal Botros
Bio
Amal Botros is originally from El-Kanater El-Khairia, Egypt. She received her bachelor’s degree in English literature from the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University and an educational diploma from the Faculty of Education at El-Sadaat University. She has been an English teacher at Amer American Charity School since 2013, where she has supervision and teaching duties. At her school, she has occasionally co-taught with another teacher and has created developmental courses for her department colleagues. Ms. Botros enjoys reading, listening to music, and volunteering. During her year in the United States, she was looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving, attending an American football game, and sharing her culture with her students. By participating in TCLP, Ms. Botros hoped to gain more knowledge about American culture through living in the United States and sharing her Egyptian culture with her American students. She was hosted by J.W. Reason Elementary School in Hilliard, OH and was an alumni buddy to Wessam Abdelnaby.
