Scott Topel
Bio
Scott Topel is originally from Chicago, Illinois. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Illinois State University and a master’s in school administration from Concordia University. He is the Assistant Principal at Peterson Elementary. He has held various positions within the field of education, ranging from a classroom teacher to an administrator. The first six of his eleven years as a classroom teacher were spent teaching at a high school in London, England. He came into the education field to ensure that students from all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds receive the quality education that they deserve. Mr. Topel was the mentor teacher to Samar Abdelfatah from Giza, Egypt (2015-2016) and Ghada Shehata from Mansoura, Egypt (2017-2018).
