Wang Jian
Bio
Wang Jian is originally from Tangshan City, China. He received his bachelor’s degree in English from Tangshan Teacher's College. He has been an English teacher at Qian'an No. 1 Middle School since 2006. He is also a head teacher at his school and has been recognized in several regional teaching and speech competitions. He is married with one daughter. Mr. Wang’s primary objective for participating in TCLP is to gain a better understanding of language education methodologies. He also hopes that through this experience, he will be able to introduce Mandarin and Chinese culture to his American students and that he will improve his own English language skills. He was hosted by Tonopah Valley High School in Tonopah, AZ and is now the alumni buddy for Shen Yan.
