Emily Carlson

Emily Carlson is originally from Frederic, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, with a content emphasis in Social Studies from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She is currently a kindergarten teacher at Pratt Community School, where she has taught since 2009. Prior to teaching kindergarten, she taught fourth grade in Texas. In addition to teaching, Ms. Carlson is also involved in the Instructional Leadership team at Pratt. She became an educator because she loves teaching young people, and helping them to discover their love of learning. When not involved with teaching, she enjoys reading by the pool, cooking, baking, staying active doing outdoor activities, and traveling.

She was the mentor teacher for Eman Mansour from Salah El-Deen Experimental Language School in Mahalla El-Kobra, Egypt.
