Anabela Dos Santos is originally from Coimbra, Portugal and lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor’s degree in French from Temple University and her Education credentials to teach French and Spanish from LaSalle University. She is currently a French teacher at Bodine High School for International Affairs, a position she has held since 2000. She is chair of the world language department and has mentored several student teachers of French from Temple University. She has also been teaching in the International Baccalaureate diploma program since 2006. She became a teacher to share a love of learning languages and about other cultures with her students, and has now been teaching for 25 years. Mrs. Dos Santos was the mentor teacher to Zhu Xiaohong from Liaoning, China (2017-2018) and Zou Feili from Zhaoqing, China (2018-2019).
