Bridget Veitch
Bio
Bridget Veitch is originally from Oxford, England. She holds a bachelor's degree in French and sociology from the University of Aston, England, a postgraduate certificate in education from the University of London, England, and a master's degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education. Ms. Veitch is currently the World Language Administrator at LaSalle Language Academy in Chicago, a position she has held since 2005. She also teaches French at LaSalle to students in kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, and 7th grades. Ms. Veitch trained to become a teacher after enjoying a two-year postgraduate teaching assistant position at the University of Tours in France. After obtaining certification in England, she taught English as a Second Language in Paris and the Paris suburbs for eleven years before moving to the United States, where she has taught French in Wisconsin and Illinois since 1997. She has now been a teacher for over 20 years. Ms. Veitch was the mentor teacher to Jiang Yajuan from Tianjin, China (2017-2018), Kong Yanli from Yichang, China (2018-2019), and Wu Huaqiong from Duyun, China (2019-2020).
