Dante Casagrande
Bio
Dante Casagrande is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish education and Spanish language from Miami University and also a master’s degree in Spanish language and culture from the University of Granada, Spain. He is currently a teacher and coach at Islands High School. Mr. Casagrande has taught and coached soccer, cross country, baseball, and football at several schools in Ohio and Georgia. He currently serves as the department chair for the World Languages Department at Islands High School. His family includes a long line of educators and his father was his first supervisor. He has been a teacher for 15 years. Mr. Casagrande was the mentor teacher to Hassan Elghobaisy from Etay El Baroud, Egypt (2016-2017) and to Ayman Belhiyad from Tetouan, Morocco (2017-2018).
