Gao Xingping

Bio
Gao Xingping is originally from Linqing City, China. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature from Shandong Normal University and a master’s degree in English language and literature from Fujian Normal University. She has been an English teacher at Fuzhou No.1 High School since 2009. Ms. Gao founded an English salon at her school to help students to improve their English and acted as a class adviser and head teacher for two-and-a-half years. She was awarded the title of “Excellent Class Adviser” in 2012. Ms. Gao enjoys jogging, climbing mountains, playing badminton, and participating in volunteer work, and lives with her husband, her daughter, and her mother-in-law. Her primary objectives for participating in TCLP are to contribute to Sino-American cultural communication and to develop her professional capacity. Ms. Gao was hosted by Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument, Colorado.
