Jessica Monahan

Bio
Jessica Monahan is originally from Queens, New York. She received her master's degree in teaching Spanish and master’s degree in Spanish language and literature from Binghamton University. She also has a bachelor's degree with a double major in chemistry and Spanish. She is currently teaching Spanish in the Binghamton City School District, a position she has held since 1992. She is also the District Curriculum Liaison for World Languages (K-12) and was the Foreign Language Assistance Program Grant Coordinator for the Binghamton City School District. She became a teacher to have a positive influence on her students, help them to reach their own personal potential and to share her love of Spanish. She has now been teaching for 26 years in all. Mrs. Monahan was the mentor teacher for Nohier Moussa from Alexandria, Egypt.
