Bio
Samar Abdelfatah is from Giza, Egypt. She received her bachelor’s degree in Arts and Education from Ainshams University. She has pursued her master’s degree in Teaching Methodology at Cairo University. She has a Career Certificate in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language from American University in Cairo. Ms. Abdelfatah has been a teacher and principal at Bloom School since 2013. she has worked also for many distinguished international schools in Egypt She is also in charge of the Bloom English Club, Glee Club, and the Super Time program. She has received the Teacher of the Month awards and the Best Academic Achievement Teacher award. She has also worked as a book reviewer for Oxford Publishers U.K. She enjoys problem-solving, event-planning, and swimming. Her primary objective for participating in TCLP is to make a difference in other people’s lives as well as gain exposure to the U.S. culture. Ms. Abdelfatah was hosted by Peterson Elementary School in Chicago, Illinois. She was an alumni buddy for the 2016-2017 year.
