Susan Michael

Bio
Susan Michael is originally from LaVale, MD. She received both her bachelors degree in Education and her masters degree in Guidance and Counseling from Frostburg State University. She is currently a Grade 2 teacher at West Side Elementary School, a position she has held since 1991. She is also the Co-facilitiator of the instructional consultation team as well as representative to both Teacher Round Table and the Allegany County Teachers Association. She has led or been part of various school functions during her 23+ years there. Susan became a teacher to inspire children to excel in their learning in order to reach their fullest potential, and has now been teaching for over 27 years in all. She is currently working to attain National Board Certification.

Susan has traveled to Canada as a child and as an adult (as part of a dance troupe that competed in dance competitions). She enjoys working outside in her flower garden, domestic travel, as well as spending time during the summer months at the beach.
