Sun Ling
Bio
Ms. Sun is from Beijing, China and obtained her Master of Arts degree in English Language and Culture from the Foreign Languages School of Beijing Normal University in 2006. She has taught English in Beijing No. 4 High School since 2006, where she has gained the “Excellent Teacher” title, among other awards. Now she is responsible for assessing and instructing academic research in the English Department. Her hobbies include reading and watching movies. She has also worked at Beijing Radio Station and Beijing No. 4 Internet School. Her main objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program is to work as a cultural ambassador to accelerate mutual understanding while enhancing the students’ interest and proficiency in learning Chinese. She is also looking forward to observing and learning from her American colleagues. Ms. Sun was hosted by Saguaro High School (1,388 students and 80 teachers) in Scottsdale, Arizona (pop. 200,000). Ms. Sun is the TCLP Alumni Cohort Leader for the China 2012-2013 group.
