Zhong Ning
Bio
Zhong Ning is from Chengdu in the Sichuan Province and holds a degree in English language teaching. She has been teaching for 19 years and is a senior teacher at the Chengdu Tian Jiabing High School (2,700 students and 200 teachers). Over 93% of the students from her school, a municipal model school established in 1925, are admitted into universities and colleges. Ms. Zhong has almost 4 years of TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) experience. She has received several prizes and awards throughout her career in teaching, such as a prize for Municipal Model Young Teacher and Model Guide Teacher in a national contest of junior English teachers.
Ms Zhong was hosted by North Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Georgia, during the 2007-2008 academic year. Among her accomplishments were her public speaking with Atlanta’s Optimist Club, generating success in a multi-cultural teaching environment, and developing a strong relationship with a mentor teacher new to the school.
