Cai Yifan
Bio
Cai Yifan is from Changchun, China and holds three degrees in English from Changchun University, the Jilin Institute of Education, and Northeast Normal University. He has taught English at Changchun No. 2 Middle School (3,200 students and 160 teachers) since 1991. He is a member of the Jilin Institute of Education’s teacher organization, and as his school’s lead teacher, he is the key facilitator for his school’s visiting teachers from Britain, the U.S., and New Zealand. He is very active and sports-inclined and was a competitive figure skater in his youth.
He was hosted by Lunada Bay Elementary School in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Mr. Cai is the TCLP Alumni Cohort Leader for the China 2008-2009 group.
