Main Profile for Tong Fuping

Tong Fuping is originally from Qiqihar, China and currently lives in Shanghai. He holds a degree in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University. He has taught English since 1981, and, since 1998, has taught English at Shanghai Jincai High School (1,900 students and 181 teachers). In 2008, he was named Excellent Faculty Advisor at Peking University for his work with the Model United Nation’s conference for high school students. He has experience teaching American students, and he has participated in a seven-day exchange program in Liverpool, UK, as well as a two-month English language teacher development program at Shanghai Bell Language School that was facilitated by British, Canadian, and Australian teachers.

He was hosted by Rockford High School in Rockford, Michigan.
