Mindi Wagner
Bio
Mindi Wagner is originally from San Jose, California. Ms. Wagner received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas in Austin. She is currently a third grade teacher and has also taught physical education, reading, and other grade levels. In addition, she assists with staff development, is a school mentor and is designated as a science specialist. In 1999, Ms. Wagner received the Teacher of the Year award and was nominated for the Disney’s American Teacher Awards in 2000. She has also had the opportunity to travel to Australia, Mexico, Canada, Belize and Jamaica. When she is not at school, Ms. Wagner enjoys gardening, hiking, and spending time with her husband and children.
She has been the mentor teacher for Tu Yijun during the 2009-2010 academic year and Liu Xuemei during the 2010-2011 academic year.
