Ibrahim Elkadi

Bio
Ibrahim Elkadi is from Zifta, Tanta Province. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Education degree from the English department at Tanta University. He currently teaches English as a Foreign Language to secondary school students. Mr. Ibrahim has traveled to Saudi Arabia in 1997 for three months where he taught at Riyadh College of Technology; Mr. Ibrahim then traveled to the United States in 1999 for another three months to attend a training course at Georgia State University. He is married with one son. Mr. Ibrahim participated in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program in order to enhance his teaching skills and work experience in the U.S. classrooms. He also wanted to share his Arabic language and culture with American students and teachers in order to form new bonds and promote understanding. He also believes that the program was a good chance for him to acquire new teaching skills and experience from the host school teachers.

Mr. Elkadi was hosted by Scott's Branch High School during the 2010-2011 academic year.
