On October 28, Teachers of Critical Languages Program (TCLP) exchange teacher Azza Ghazaly, hosted at Seventy-First High School in Fayetteville, NC, participated in a local “Dining & Dialogue” event entitled “Meet your Muslim Neighbor”. This event was hosted by the Fayetteville-Cumberland Human Relations Commission as part of their diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. During the event, Ms. Ghazaly joined other Muslim community members in helping to dispel stereotypes and promote greater understanding of her religion and culture.
