Students can ....
1- recognise a few letters and words.
2- connect some words to their meeting.
3- recognise the sounds of a few letters when they are spoken or spelled out.
4- copy letters and words they see on the paper, the computer or on the wall.
5- state the names of familiar objects or animals in pictures or posters.
1. The students are able to say the body parts, including head, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, shoulder, back, stomach, hand, foot, arms and legs and also add “touch”, “move” and “pat” “shake” in front to show the actions on the body parts.
2. The students are able to show the actions on their body parts and introduce them in Chinese.
By the end of the lesson students should be able to :
1. Identify the four seasons
2. Talk about their favorite season
3. Describe the weather
4. Review on the months of the year and how they are related to the four seasons
5. Compare between the weather in the USA and other parts of the world.
6. Describe how the weather affects our clothes.
1 students can be able to revise what they have learnt before like hello, my name is..., i am a boy/girl, 1,2,3,4,5
2 student can be able to make self-assessment initiatively and efficiently
3 students can be able to write down some Chinese words as a trial and build confidence in the future.
