Teriza Malak

Bio
Teriza Malak is from Beni Suef, Egypt and received her Bachelor Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Ain Shams University of Cairo. She is currently an English as a Second Language teacher at Public Secondary School. She is also an Access teacher who works on the weekends during the school year and during the summer. Ms. Teriza is the manager of evening classes which offers English literature courses. She is looking forward to the Teachers of Critical Languages Program experience because she believes in building bridges between Egypt and the United States, and she believes that a key to bridging two countries begins with understanding one another’s language. Another one of her goals is to explore the teaching and management system in the U.S. school system. She was hosted by Watertown High School (749 students and 59 teachers) in Watertown, Massachusetts (pop. 32,248).
