Wang Zhenglin

Bio
Wang Zhenglin is from Chengdu, China. She received her bachelor's degree in English language and literature from the City College of Southwest University of Science and Technology. Ms. Wang has been an English teacher at Chengdu Paotongshu Primary School—Tianfu Campus since 2013. She is also an assistant in her school’s Cultural Exchange Office and in this capacity has helped to arrange exchange activities. Ms. Wang was awarded the honorary title of "New Talent in Teaching" in the High-tech Zone, Chengdu in 2017 and also placed first in the Chengdu Primary School English Teacher Thesis Competition. In 2018, she visited her school’s sister school in the United Kingdom to teach Chinese. In her free time, Ms. Wang enjoys reading, music, and traveling. During her year in the United States, she is looking forward to enjoying the natural beauty of America, sharing her cultural holidays with her students, and having fun with her host community. Ms. Wang’s primary objective for participating in the Teachers of Critical Languages Program is to improve her teaching skills by learning from the teaching methodologies used in American schools. Ms. Wang was hosted by Batesville Primary School in Batesville, IN.
