Sayed Keliey

Bio
Sayed Keliey is originally from Qus, Egypt. He received his bachelor’s degree in English teaching from the Qina Faculty of Education at South Valley University. He has been a senior teacher of English at Qeft Governmental Language School since 2017. He has also worked as a senior teacher of English at Qus Governmental Language School, where he was head of the English department as well as head of the school based training unit. Mr. Keliey enjoys travel, surfing the web, watching documentaries, and listening to classical Arabic songs. During his year in the United States, he was looking forward to exchanging cultural experiences. Mr. Keliey’s primary objective for participating in TCLP was to be a cultural resource for his host school and community. He hopes to have opportunity to correct misconceptions Americans may hold about Arabs based on stereotypes and media portrayal. He was hosted by Irving Elementary School in Bozeman, MT.
