Wessam Abdelnaby
Bio
Wessam Abdelnaby is from Damanhour, Egypt. She has a bachelor’s degree in English from Alexandria University and a diploma from the Faculty of Education. She has worked as a teacher of English at Moaaz Ibn Gabal Official Language School since 2017. She works as a teacher educator in the National Technical Training Program (NTTP). Ms. Abdelnaby enjoys reading books, walking, watching movies, and listening to music. She is married and has two daughters, ages five and ten. During her year in the U.S., she looked forward to visiting different places and states, attending an American football game, building a snowman, and sharing cultural holidays with her students. She also looked forward to learning about American society. Her primary objectives for participating in TCLP were to learn new techniques and technology in teaching, and help students master Arabic. She was hosted by J.W. Reason Elementary School in Hilliard, OH and is the alumni buddy for Ola Sofi. She is the cohort leader for the 2019-2020 Arabic group.
