Hassan Elghobaisy

Bio
Hassan Elghobaisy is originally from Etay El Baroud, Egypt. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Alexandria University. He has worked as a senior teacher of English at Ezzat El Nemr Secondary School for Boys since April 2014. He participates in seminars held within the school, supporting colleagues within the teaching team, and used to supervise teachers and aid them in problem-solving. Mr. Elghobaisy holds meetings with his colleagues to improve their teaching skills. He also was sent on an educational mission to Scotland and has participated in many teacher training programs. Mr. Elghobaisy is married with three children, and his hobbies include soccer, swimming, and music. His primary objectives for participating in TCLP are to promote the teaching of Arabic in American schools and to improve his English proficiency. He also hopes to learn a lot about U.S. teaching methodologies, culture, and society. Mr. Elghobaisy was hosted by Islands High School in Savannah, Georgia.
