Arabic Club

Mohamed Kandeel

Getting students involved in the culture is the quickest way of teaching a language. Nothing can be involving the learners in a culture better than the after-school club. In the Arabic club, we can make the following: Setting up the Arabic magazine, see videos for Arabic songs and movies, play Arabic games, bring Arabic food, learn Arabic songs related to the curriculum, setting up a journey to the Egyptian Museum in New York city. I think it will be a good opportunity to get along with the students outside the classroom doing activities related to my language and my culture. All the 6th grade students are expected to participate in it besides the teachers who are interested. It should be at school once a week after school day for at least one hour. It is supposed to last for the whole year.
